How to clean jewelry

It is important to routinely clean jewelries at home. The following are general guidelines of how to clean your jewelry. 

1. Keep them clean from perspiration, grease or lotion. 

2. Soak jewelry in lukewarm water with gentle soap and clean them with a chomoise cloth..

3. Store your jewlry in a dry and clean box or container to avoid dust.

4. Never soak your jewelry in chlorinated solution or bleach. Always remove your jewelry and put it in a safe place before entering a swimming pool.

5. Avoid using ultrasonic machine on opaque gems and opals.

6. Do not use chlorinated solution or bleach on silver. Bleach tarnishes silver.

7. Some jewelry stores offer free cleaning services.
